About Daisy’s Kids Club
Cooper has reached retirement age and looks forward to long naps, tons of treats, and a relaxing lifestyle. But who could be the new mascot for the Humane Society of Broward County? Daisy to the rescue!!! At 8 years young, Daisy the Bassugg (Basset Hound/ Pug mix,) is ready to mooove on into the mascot position and have a howlin’ good time with all the Kid’s Club members. Due to the fact her favorite things in the world are children, food, and naps; she is a perfect fit for the job of HSBC Kid’s Club Mascot!
Kids of all ages can join Daisy’s Kids Club for the school year.
The clubs meet from September through May.
Little Pups: Humans from 6 to 9 years old
Middle Mutts: Humans from 9 to 11 years old
Big Dogs: Humans from 10 to 13 years old
Kids Club is a great way for kids to learn about caring for animals, building empathy and being kind to our furry friends. Each meeting lasts an hour and a half. We spend at least half of our time with the animals and the other half learning about important lessons in animal kindness or working on animal-related projects. The annual membership fee is $45.00 which includes a Daisy’s Kids Club T-shirt.
Kids Club meets on the 2nd floor of the Humane Society of Broward County,
2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.
