Introducing a dog truly deserving of the title “Diamond in the Ruff”, a promotion by JR Dunn Jeweler’s to sponsor the adoption fee, and her name is Lola (ID 571981).
Little Lola is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix that was turned in due to unknown injury in her front left leg. Unfortunately, Lola’s leg could not be saved and the Humane Society of Broward County made the tough decision to amputate. This did not deter Little Lola as she has recovered beautifully and has returned to her energetic, playful self.
Lola is a self-proclaimed “big dog” as she loves to rule the coop in her Adoption Ambassador home, where a foster family has dedicated themselves to provide housing for her away from the shelter until she finds her forever home. She is definitely a diva, true to the Chihuahua nature – fierce and bubbly, charming and goofy!
If you think your family would be the perfect fit for Lola, please contact the Humane Society of Broward County to get in touch with her Ambassador family.
About the “Diamond in the Ruff” Series:
Longtime Humane Society of Broward County supporter J.R. Dunn Jewelers will be helping to create true love – by sponsoring pet adoptions so that more dogs and cats can find happy homes. The program is called “Diamond in the Ruff,” and who knows diamonds better than J.R. Dunn?
J.R. Dunn will feature a pet each week and will underwrite the entire adoption fee for that dog, puppy, cat or kitten in the Humane Society of Broward County’s Adoption Ambassador program. Diamond in the Ruff will be promoted through J.R. Dunn’s local radio spots and social media, and the HSBC will do its share of promotion as well. What a fabulous way to put their money where their heart is, and to bring attention to all the amazing dogs and cats that are so ready to be loved. Furry little diamonds in the rough – just waiting for their “perfect setting!”
Be sure to visit J.R. Dunn’s facebook page each week to see who the featured pet is and you might just find your next family member. Of course to meet the pet, contact the Humane Society of Broward County at 954-266-6839.
