This week’s JR Dunn Jewelers’ “Diamond in the Ruff” is not just looking for a home, she’s looking for a best friend. 2-year-old Rose (ID 588170) is a German Shepherd mix who had a rough start in life. Rose came to the Humane Society of Broward County from another shelter. They believed she was abused as a puppy, and as such, she is quite shy when she first meets strangers.

Diamond in the Ruff: Rose

However, once she knows that she can trust you, she will (without exaggeration) be the most loyal companion you can ever hope for. Rose is a very sweet, laid-back girl who wants to love and be loved. She likes to go for walks, play with toys, and cuddle with her people friends.

This beauty is mellow and not very high-energy, and we think it’d be best that she find a home without children (they may overstimulate and scare her). Rose is currently living in an Adoption Ambassador foster home because the shelter was too noisy and scary for her, but she is thriving in a home environment.

If you are a patient, calm, and loving home that is ready to open up your heart to sweet dog in need of some TLC, please choose Rose. She will return your love and loyalty tenfold. Thanks to our friends at JR Dunn Jewelers, her adoption fee has been fully-sponsored, so please ask to meet her today.
