Due to hurricane Irma, the portable spay/neuter FORT opening in John Williams Park (Hollywood) was delayed.
The park suffered a tremendous amount of damage, including flooding and downed trees. However, we are happy to report that the FORT is now up and accepting appointments Monday through Friday.
Did You Know…
… we completed 1,779 spay/neuter surgeries for the public in September, October and November 2017?
Broward County’s SNIP Program
Those who have pets in need of spay/neuter services can apply for the county’s SNIP Program, a voucher-based system available to all Broward residents who own a dog or cat. SNIP services include spay/neuter surgery, a rabies vaccination and a Broward County registration tag.
How to Apply
Fort those without online access, the county has partnered with Broward County Libraries to provide computer access at any of the 33 library locations.
During the time FORT services were unavailable, those who held vouchers were accommodated at the HSBC. To learn about all of the HSBC services, please click here.
