For Venues: Participate in the AAT Program

We would like to invite you to join our wonderful Animal Assisted Therapy Program (AAT). Our program is currently free of charge to participating facilities. The Humane Society of Broward County firmly believes that animals have positive impacts on the lives of humans. It is this belief that has led to the inception of the AAT Program. Animal Assisted Therapy offers enormous benefits to people and ensures that they will live richer and fuller lives by just being a part of this program.

Beginning a program at your facility requires advanced planning. The first step is to fill out the following form, which will let us know of your interest in the program. After the form has been received, we will send you our Facility Manual with literature on the AAT program.
Please take a moment to read the following information on our program and how it can greatly benefit the residents, patients and healthcare providers in your facility. Please consider what you would like the program to achieve and how you envision achieving this goal. The process of coordinating the matching of AAT volunteers to a facility may take some time. We ask that you be patient during this time.

In the interim should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

I look forward to registering your facility into our program.
