Puppy Preschool

Start your puppy off on the right paw!

Your puppy will get the chance to socialize with other puppies and learn basic puppy manners. A different Puppy-Parenting issue will be covered each week.

Puppies have developmental stages during which time it is critical to teach good habits and prevent undesirable behaviors. Exposure to other dogs and people during these stages will help your puppy develop into a calm, well-adjusted adult dog. Don’t delay—this class is only for puppies 8 to 18 weeks old.

The 4-week course is $120 for puppies adopted from the shelter and $150 for all other puppies.

Enrolling is easy:

  1. Pre-registration is not necessary, however all students must confirm attendance via phone prior to arrival for your first class (954-266-6819).
  2. Bring check (payable to Humane Society of Broward County) with you to class.
  3. Class is on Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM – 10:00AM here at the Humane Society in our front lobby.

For more information please call our Behavior and Training Department at 954.266.6819. Classes are held at the Humane Society, 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.
