One of the most common questions our adoption counselors receive is “Do you have to live in Broward County to adopt?”

The answer: NO!

As long as the necessary travel arrangements are made, our animals can call anywhere “home,” as long as it is with a suitable adopter. That is exactly what happened with little Bambi. Be sure to read her story below!

While on our honeymoon weekend in Fort Lauderdale, we found our baby before our actual baby! She was one of the puppies rescued from Puerto Rico, and we fell in love!

At first Carrie (now Bambi) was shy and nervous, but now after only 2 and a half weeks, social and very comfortable with not only us but friends and family as well.

She’s an energetic and loving 5-month-old puppy! Boy, does she keep us busy! She was an amazing asset to our newly growing family!

So happy to have her with us!
