Early Wednesday morning, 19 felines packed their bags and mittens and headed to one of our rescue partners, the Leon County Humane Society located in Tallahassee. The HSBC typically does not have as many cats in November as other months, but with the busy hurricane season, the HSBC has seen more felines being surrendered. In an effort to find them all loving, permanent homes, the 19 adorable and out-going kitties were selected for the eight-hour journey by van. The facility in Tallahassee has foster homes waiting for their new arrivals and are confident they will be able to place the felines in no time.

If you’re looking to add a magnificent feline to your family there are still plenty to select from at the Humane Society of Broward County. And don’t forget…throughout November if you adopt any feline one year of age or older on a “Caturday” Saturday, you will receive a $20 gift certificate to redeem at the shelter’s on-site Pet Boutique located in the shelter’s lobby.
