Weekly Pet Flyer

By all accounts, our Adopt a Sweetheart event was a big success. Nearly 70 animals found homes in the span of 2 days. Although we were sad to see them go, some long-term shelter animals, like Beretta and Remington, finally found love.

But, sadly, not all of the animals found homes. And, new animals are coming in everyday. We currently have over 100 animals up for adoption

So, what are you waiting for? Please run on down to our shelter (located at 2070 Griffin Road) and ask to meet one of these wonderful pets today!

Additional Adoption Information

The adoption fee for dogs is $100 and $30 for cats. All animals go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive preliminary vaccinations, dogs receive a heartworm test, and cats are feline leukemia tested. They also receive a flea/tick preventative, a 10-day limited health care plan from VCA Animal Hospitals, 30 days of Trupanion Pet Insurance and a bag of Purina ONE pet food. The HSBC opens daily at 10:30 and is located at 2070 Griffin Road, a block west of I-95. For more details call 954-989-3977 ext. 6. To see who else is looking for a home visit www.humanebroward.com

Maddox (ID 590676)

Weekly Pet Flyer
Description: 1 year old, male
Maddox is a very sweet and smart boy. He is housebroken and knows some basic commands, but he can be a bit stubborn. He absolutely loves going to the dog park!

Mummy (ID 517818)

Weekly Pet Flyer
Description: 4 years old, female
Mummy is one of the friendliest cats at the shelter! Although she doesn’t like belly rubs, she does love being scratched and petted. This 4-year-old is very playful, loves other cats, and could play with balls and feather toys all day.

Geisha (ID 590668)

Weekly Pet Flyer
Description: 1 year old, female
Geisha came to us from a shelter in Puerto Rico. Her past is a bit of a mystery to us, but from what we have learned about her, we can see she is high-spirited and very playful. Her favorite things are time outside and playing with toys. She does need to learn some basic commands, so if you have the time to train this cutie, she could be a great family dog.

Charbiel (ID 586801)

Weekly Pet Flyer
Description: 1 year old, male
Charbiel is a super friendly and sweet cat. He adores cuddling and doesn’t mind being held. Because he likes being the center of attention, we recommend that he be the only pet in the household.

Chavito (ID 589867)

Weekly Pet Flyer
Description: 2 years old, male
Chavito is a very shy boy in need of a patient home, but he is incredibly sweet and loving. We can tell that he will be a loyal, laid-back companion to a quiet home.
