Spend an evening at the Humane Society of Broward County while enjoying drinks, light snacks and snuggles from adoptable animals, all while supporting the Humane Society of Broward County.

Yappy Hours are scheduled for 2 hours during the week from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM or 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the shelter and will include…

  • Tour of the shelter and opportunity to give treats to the dogs
  • Animal interaction time
  • Toy making activity for dogs and cats
  • Beer, wine, sodas, and light snacks

Groups are welcome to bring food in for the event or we are happy to add some pizzas to your Yappy Hour reservation. We also encourage companies to do an employee donation drive from our wish list.

Adults can also make a Yappy Hour into a birthday celebration as well…..a Yappy Birthday Party!! All of the above will be provided and the cake too.

 To schedule a Yappy Hour:

♦ Companies/groups must guarantee a minimum of 10 attendees. The maximum number of attendees is 100.

♦ The cost per person is $35.00*.

* A $100 deposit is required once a date is confirmed and goes towards your total amount due. The number of guests attending needs to be finalized 3 days prior to your scheduled Yappy Hour. The remaining balance will be due the day of the Yappy Hour or before; final balance is based on the finalized head count you give us.

    I, the undersigned, are desirous of hiring the services of the Humane Society of Broward County Inc. (HSBC) for the sole purposes of facilitating a Yappy Hour (YH) and hereby consent to allowing all guests or attendees to participate in the HSBC Yappy Hour activities. The undersigned does hereby absolutely and unconditionally release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge HSBC, its officers, directors, employees, successors, assigns, agents and volunteers, and each of them, from and against any and all claims, demands, obligations and liabilities of every nature and kind whatsoever, including, without limitation, negligence, occurring during, directly or indirectly resulting from or arising out of said guests’ or attendees’ participation at the YH. As to matters covered hereby, this release shall extinguish all claims, demands and rights which the undersigned or guests or attendees’ (and/or each of their heirs, successors, and assigns) has, or may ever have, against the parties released hereby, or any of them, for injuries, costs or damages to the guests or attendees occurring during, directly or indirectly resulting from or arising out of guests’ or attendees’ participation in PARTY at HSBC whether such injuries, costs or damages are known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, ascertainable or unascertainable. I agree that a payment for the YH, amount dependent upon the number of guests declared prior to the party start (cost of $35.00 per person), will be surrendered to the HSBC until the total of the payment required, has been delivered. The payment plan will take the following form: $100.00 deposit due at time of booking and remaining balance will be due a day before the YH is rendered. I understand that I am responsible to make sure the complete payment for the YH is received by HSBC. By choosing "Yes", I am agreeing to the Yappy Hour Release which is required in order to book a Yappy Hour.
