Big Dogs Need Lovin’ Too!
They may not fit in your purse when you go to the mall and they might take up a lot of space in your bed, but big dogs need homes too! The Humane Society of Broward County currently has more than 70 dogs that weigh 30 pounds or more that are looking for families to love. Can you make a big dog’s wish come true and give them the forever home they want?
Celebrate “Big Dogs” with the Humane Society of Broward County August 28 – September 1, 2019 – as dogs 30 pounds or more will have half priced adoption fees. We don’t want the felines to feel left out, so all kitties one year of age and older will also be half price. That’s more than a $60 savings for our canine friends and $15 savings for our feline friends. They are a variety of purebred and mixed breed dogs ranging from 30 – 89 pounds all waiting to meet you today.
When you adopt from the Humane Society of Broward County all pets are spayed or neutered before going home. In addition, they receive preliminary vaccinations, a microchip, heart worm test for dogs over seven months, feline leukemia test for cats, a limited 14 day health care plan courtesy of VCA Animal Hospital, a 30 day trial membership in Trupanion pet insurance (restrictions apply) and a bag of Purina ONE pet food. All adopted pets must leave with an appropriate collar and dogs must leave on a leash. These are available for purchase at the shelter’s Pet Boutique. For more information call the shelter today at 954-989-3977 ext 6. The Humane Society of Broward County is located at 2070 Griffin Road, just a block west of I-95 and opens daily at 10:30 a.m. To see who else needs a home visit www.humanebroward.com
