It’s puppy season here at the shelter, and many South Florida families are adding little wiggly bunches of joy to their homes.
Adopting a puppy is a completely different experience from adopting an adult dog. Not only do you have to deal with the standard transition process of introducing an animal into your home, but families also take on the challenges of house training and behavior education.
As your little ones (human ones, that is) finish up the school year, now would be the best time to make your puppy’s training a family affair. Start your puppy off on the right paw with Puppy Preschool!
Over the next few days, we’ll touch upon a variety of puppy-parenting issues that are covered, in detail, by our Behavior Training Programs Manager in her full Puppy-PreSchool Course. If you like what you get a taste of in these blog posts, sign your little guy (or gal) up for the full course, here.
