Meet the Pet Flyer Pets

Peabody (ID 599092)

Weekly Pet Flyer: Peabody 599092

Description: 1.5 years old, male

Peabody is unstoppable! This sweet, happy fella came to us from Broward County Animal Control. He was picked up as a stray but had a terrible leg fracture. Thankfully one of the amazing orthopedic veterinarians we worked with was able to get him into surgery ASAP. Peabody is as good as new, and you would never have guessed he just had major surgery – he was up and about practically as soon as the anesthesia wore off!

Although we don’t know much about his past, Peabody loves to be petted and cuddled. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate boy, look no further than Peabody!

Ramesses (ID 599587)

Weekly Pet Flyer: Ramesses 599587

Description: 14 weeks old, male

It’s still kitten season here at the shelter! Ramesses is a 3-month-old kitten who was part of a litter surrendered to the shelter last week. Unfortunately his owner is ill and is not able to care for a bunch of bouncing, energetic babies. Ramesses may have all of the qualities of a typical kitten (playful, rambunctious, adorable, affectionate…) but you know what is atypical about him? He’s INCREDIBLY photogenic. I mean, just look at his photo. We’re in love!

Isabel (ID 599439)

Weekly Pet Flyer: Isabel 599439

Description: 2 years old, female

Although she is quite shy at first, sweet Isabel is a total love-bug. At just 2 years old, she has her playful moments, but some of our volunteers have described her as “playful” and “loves attention.” Isabel initially came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Puerto Rico, so we are still getting to know her. However, we will post more information as we learn more – but, hopefully she’s adopted before that!

Lady (ID 599470)

Weekly Pet Flyer: Lady 599470

Description: 7 years old, female

Look at that smile! A picture says a thousand words, and we can honestly say that those thousand words to describe Lady would all be derivates of “sweet,” “happy,” “smart,” and “a great addition to the family.” Lady came from a very busy household: infants, children, visiting friends/family and other animals. Lady got along with all of them (although she hasn’t spent a ton of time around cats, so she may be choosy)!

Not only is she sweet and easy-going, Lady is SMART! She was easily housebroken, knows a handful of commands, and she could even open the latch to the gate when you were ready to take her out for a walk. Most importantly, Lady is a loving, affectionate girl who loves nothing more than attention from her family.

Aurora (ID 599483)

Weekly Pet Flyer: Aurora 599483

Description: 2 years old, female

This beautiful girl is Aurora, a friendly cat in need of a new family. Her past owner referred to her as a “lap cat” who was very talkative. Although she loves people of all ages, is incredibly friendly, and likes dogs; she doesn’t actually like the company of other felines!
