Goodbye 2017, Welcome 2018

As 2017 comes to a close, we’ll be adjusting our hours again for the holiday. Please note that we will be closing early (at 5:00pm) on Sunday, December 31 and will remain closed until 10:30am on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

There will still be a small crew here caring for and ringing in the New Year with the furry friends still here at the shelter. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Weekly Pet Flyer

Unfortunately these 5 cuties had to spend the holidays here at our shelter (but, don’t worry, they were spoiled rotten).

We wish that these beautiful creatures find homes before the year is out. We understand that you may not be able to adopt a furry friend right now, but won’t you please help us spread the word by printing out a copy of this flyer and posting it in your community? Our Weekly Pet Flyer is one of the most-effective ways to get our pets adopted. If you cannot adopt, please help us help them find homes! Please help spread the word and post this flyer at a local business. The right family might just see it!

We wish you all a very Happy New Year, and we’re hoping that 2017 marks the beginning of a 2018 in a new, loving home for these guys!

Meet the Pet Flyer Pets

Bali 584520 pet flyer
Description: 2 years old, female
Breed: Labrador retriever mix
Bali is an energetic girl that loves to play and have fun. She would do best with an active family and older children because she acts like a big loveable pup that doesn’t know her own size!

Delilah (ADOPTED)

Delilah 409351 pet flyer
Description: 8 year olds, female
Breed: Domestic shorthair mix
Delilah is a very laid-back and independent girl. She does like the company of adults, but the energy of children and dogs is a bit much. We think she would do very well in an adults-only household.

Ollie (ID 581851)

Ollie 581851 pet flyer
Description: 7 months old, male
Breed:American foxhound mix
Little Ollie came to us from Puerto Rico, and unfortunately he has a hard time trusting strangers (especially men). He is in an Adoption Ambassador home where he is working on how to trust people – and he has been making a lot of improvement! Ollie is a quirky and spunky little man with a ton of energy. We recommend that he goes to a family with a big backyard and a lot of time to give.

Oreo 559304 pet flyer
Description: 2 years old, male
Breed: Domestic shorthair mix
Oreo is a pretty laid back guy, but still has a very playful side. He is good with adults, kids, cats, and dogs. He enjoys walks outside on his leash. Like a true Floridian, Oreo, enjoys walks on the beach!

Ivan (ID 586752)

Ivan 586752 pet flyer
Description: 4 years old, male
Breed:Kelpie mix
Ivan came to us from Puerto Rico, so we don’t know a whole lot about his history. However, we can already tell that he is very sweet and loves giving kisses. He does need some basic training, but he likes to please – so we think he’ll catch on quicklyl!
