If You Lost Your Pet During Irma

The following animals were found as strays and brought to the Humane Society to seek shelter from Hurricane Irma.

Many of our stray pets are already listed on the website, but some have not yet been processed and are not yet live on the site. If you do not see your pet below, please stop by in person.

If you see your missing pet listed below, please call the Animal Admissions line at 954.266.6873. Because we have been receiving a lot of phone calls since the storm, chances are you will be sent to a voice mailbox. However, please list your name, phone number, and say that your pet was turned in and is listed on the website. Be sure to mention the pet’s ID number. A member from that team will call you back as soon as they can.

Due to the number of people that were required to evacuate and the current numbers of people still without power and Internet service both Broward County Animal Care and Adoptions and the HSBC have extended our stray hold time to 10 days.

If you have lost your pet but do not see it listed below, please read this article on other ways you can help locate it.
