As always, in this week’s pet flyer, you’ll find 5 adorable, adoptable cuties looking for forever homes. However, since it’s officially Back-to-School time, we thought it’d be fun if the featured pets shared their favorite bedtime stories with you! Please scroll down to learn more about them.

Remember, if you cannot adopt, won’t you help them by printing and sharing this weekly pet flyer? It helps so much in spreading their wonderful stories around the county and finding them a match!

Nena (ID 601099)

Description: 10 years old, female
Favorite book: Clifford the Big Red Dog

Meet a cute and happy super senior who will fill your days with smiles! Nena and her brother Smokey (ID 601097) are great companions who love the company of other animals and people. They are both housebroken and are very polite in the house.

Boo Boo (ID 600176)

Description: 11 years old, female
Favorite book: If You Give a Cat a Cupcake

Sometimes you just want a nice, lazy cat to chill with. If that sounds like you, Boo Boo is your bae. She’s very calm, affectionate, and a bit on the lazy-side. But, she gets along with everyone and would make a great addition to any household.

Harley (ID 601131)

Weekly Pet Flyer: Harley 601131

Description: 8 months old, female
Favorite book: Harry the Dirty Dog

Meet Harley! This super-sweet puppy has all the makings of a great family dog. She’s affectionate, knows a few basic commands, is housebroken and crate-trained, and very treat motivated (which will make additional training a breeze).

Harley loves going to the dog park, and she’s very good around other dogs. (Sadly, she’s not great around cats, so she’d be a great fit for a canine-only household.) Our trainers have even worked with her a little bit, and they say she’s very alert and is a quick-learner.

Aster (ID 601180)

Favorite book: The Velveteen Rabbit
Description: age unknown, female

Meet Aster! We’re still learning about this gal, but we know she’s ready to hop into your heart and home. Aster came to us from the Wildlife Care Center.
