I’m Tweety and I’m a goofy 1-year-old Labrador Retriever mix that doesn’t quite know my own size! I love to give kisses but need help remembering not to jump up for them. Sadly, my former owner became ill, and I became too much work for them. I am still a puppy at heart, despite being 69lbs, so will need an adopter with plenty of time to dedicate to my training and socializing. I get really excited around other dogs, so big dogs with a similar energy are best for me. Because of my size and energy, small children and elderly are not recommended. I love to exercise and be active, so please come in to meet me if you’re looking for an adventure buddy!

Since 2016, longtime Humane Society of Broward County supporter J.R. Dunn Jewelers has been helping to create true love – by sponsoring pet adoptions so that more dogs and cats can find happy homes. The program is called Diamond in the Ruff, and who knows diamonds better than J.R. Dunn?
J.R. Dunn features a pet each week – yes, 52 pets every year – and underwrites the entire adoption fee for that dog, puppy, cat or kitten. Diamond in the Ruff is promoted through J.R. Dunn’s local radio spots and social media, and the HSBC will do its share of promotion as well.
