Helpline

Is Rover or Fluffy driving you bonkers? Rover just chewed up your third pair of new shoes and Fluffy didn’t make it to the litter box for the second time today! You’re at your wit’s end…have no fear the Behavior Helpline is here.

First of all, you are not alone! No dog or cat is perfect, just as no human being is perfect either. We all make mistakes and we all have to learn through patience, praise and understanding.

If you are having a behavior problem with your furry friend give us a call and one of our trained counselors will help you work through your problem. This is a call back service. We receive many phone calls and will try to return your call within one business day.

The number is 954.266.6851

Please leave the following information on our helpline so we can assist you efficiently:

  1. Your name, two phone numbers and the best time to reach you.
  2. The name of your pet, breed, age and how long you have owned the pet. Please indicate if you adopted the pet from the shelter.
  3. Please describe in detail the nature of the behavior problem you are having.

Please be patient with your pet. Remember he or she has already lost one home and has been through a lot of heartbreak. Your patience and understanding is crucial to assisting your pet in overcoming their problem. Don’t let your pet become a statistic; every week in Broward County over 1,000 dogs and cats end up homeless.

We’re here to help you make a lifetime commitment to your pet.
