Adoption applications are required before visiting the adoption areas.
Please read carefully below, as our adoption procedures have recently changed.
CAT OR EXOTIC ANIMAL ADOPTIONS
If you’re interested in adopting a cat or exotic animal, the shelter is open to the public with no appointment necessary. Before you come to the shelter, you must fill out an online pre-adoption application below.
You only need to fill out the cat/exotic animal pre-adoption application once. Not for every pet you are interested in. Applications MUST be completed online, physical applications will not be available at the shelter.
Once you receive your email confirmation, head to the shelter to visit with our available cats or exotic animals.
ADOPTIONS AT THE SHELTER ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED,
HOWEVER THERE ARE ADOPTABLE DOGS IN FOSTER CARE
Our shelter has been experiencing a severe upper respiratory infection that is highly contagious. In the best interest of our animals, and the animals in our community, we have suspended dog adoptions at the shelter. We are actively treating all of the affected dogs and are hoping for their speedy recovery.
There are adoptable dogs that are currently in Adoption Ambassador or foster homes. If you are interested in adopting one of these dogs, please complete a pre-adoption application below. If you haven’t already, please be sure to click the blue button below to view our adoptable dogs page before proceeding with your application. You must have the name and six-digit ID number for the dogs you would like to meet to complete this form.
Once you have submitted your dog adoption application, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment.
Note: Adoptions will be processed at the shelter on a first come, first serve basis. This application does not guarantee availability of a specific animal.
