About

Five-year-old Marie aka Mermaid is ready to make a splash with you. She might not be a real mermaid, but this girl loves to play and explore. An owner with a yard would be a great match. She is a high-energy dog so she would do best in a home with no small children and she prefers to be the only pet. Want to see if she is a good fit for your family? Mermaid is available for a sleepover at your house. To meet her or any other pet, complete the pre-adoption application on the website www.humanebroward.com and then stop by. The shelter opens daily at 11 AM. If you have questions, call 954-989-3977 ext. 6. Thanks to our friends at J.R. Dunn Jewelers her adoption fee has been sponsored - she might be the perfect gem for you.The Humane Society of Broward County is in need of foster families for adult dogs like this beauty.
