6-year-old Sam is a very sweet and affectionate Chinese Sharpei Mix. This well-behaved and gentle boy came to us from an overcrowded shelter and sadly has some medical conditions that are very uncomfortable for him. He has hypothyroid, as well as a skin condition; both of which are being treated by our in-house veterinary staff. He loves to be pet and loves treats. He has a big heart with lots of love to give and is very grateful to be around you. Won’t you please open your heart and home to this underdog?

Since 2016, longtime Humane Society of Broward County supporter J.R. Dunn Jewelers has been helping to create true love – by sponsoring pet adoptions so that more dogs and cats can find happy homes. The program is called Diamond in the Ruff, and who knows diamonds better than J.R. Dunn?
