About

WATCH MY VIDEO...This 9-year-old Labrador mix is truly something special. She’s the perfect blend of calm and playful, making her an easy companion for just about any family. She previously lived in an apartment and has wonderful manners—she doesn’t bark much, walks beautifully on a leash, and appears to be housetrained. She knows her basics (sit, down, paw, and comes when called) and is always eager to please. This affectionate girl adores people, kids included, and loves to stay close with her tail wagging. She enjoys gentle playtime with toys, interactive games, and especially fetch (she’s a pro at bringing the ball back!). Treats are a big favorite too, which makes training fun and easy. While she hasn’t had a lot of experience with other dogs in the past, she seems to be getting along well with the ones she’s seen here. She’s calm, obedient, and oh-so-sweet—the kind of dog who just wants to relax by your side but will happily bounce up for a game of fetch. Simply put: she’s perfect. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and easygoing best friend, this “perfect mature lady” might just be the one to steal your heart. To meet her or any other pet, complete the pre-adoption application on the website and then stop by the Humane Society of Broward County located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.
