About

Her name says it all...Sweety is just that, oh so sweet. This beauty was found living in a junk yard and you can tell she had been a momma dog at one time. A good Samaritan rescued her, but the landlord said only 1 pet was allowed so after three months, the rescuer brought her to the Humane Society of Broward County to find her forever home. At 3 years old, Sweety walks good on a leash - she is not a puller, she is docile and gets attached to you. She is good with dogs, but it is unknown how she is with felines. Because she was not on heartworm preventative, Sweety has tested positive, but her treatment will be done by the veterinary staff at the shelter at no cost to the adopter. And, thanks to Dolly's Dream, they have kindly paid her adoption fee and she gets to go home with goodies to help her settle in. To meet Sweety, visit www.humanebroward.com and complete the pre-adoption application and then stop by the Humane Society of Broward County located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312. If you have any questions call 954-989-3977.
