Out-of-state Residents’ Pre-adoption Application

For all animal adoptions, you must have completed a pre-adoption application (or have adopted from us) within the past year. You only need to fill out the pre-adoption application once.

Applications must be filled out online, physical applications will not be available at the shelter. You will not receive a call from us to confirm we received your application. If you have a question about a specific dog or cat, please call 954-989-3977 extension 6.

Please note that we do not adopt puppies and kittens to out-of state adopters.

Note: Adoptions will be processed on a first come, first serve basis. This application does not guarantee availability of a specific animal.

Adoptions

If you own, and have an HOA you will need to provide those documents to us prior to approval. A current HOA agreement is required and must show evidence of the pet policy, which usually includes weight and breed restriction for such address listed.

If you rent, you will need to provide your rental agreement prior to approval. A current lease agreement is required and must show evidence of the pet policy, which usually includes weight and breed restriction for such address listed.

We are unable to adopt outside the Continental United States and Canada.
