About

WATCH MY VIDEO...A smile as big as his heart!! Meet 5-year old Tank, our favorite smiling pup! He’s grinning because his adoption fee has been covered by @bennysbuddies9.For his entire life, Tank has known the comfort of a home. He’s great with kids and adults and is a loyal and loving dog. Tank will sit by your side waiting for pets and he smiles at us every time we walk by the kennel. He grew up with kids, is crate trained, good at the vet, and takes treats so softly you’ll hardly feel it. He knows “go to bed” and comes when called (most of the time).Tank tends to get a little excited when meeting new people but he’s kind, calm around other dogs, and just wants to be near you. He’ll chase a ball if you invite him, but he’s just as happy hanging by your side. His family is facing a medical crisis, and they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him so he can get the time and care he deserves. He’s confused, but still smiling and still hoping someone new will walk by and see what a good boy he is.If you have room in your heart for a dog who’s known love and is ready to give it again, Tank is waiting. Thanks to @bennysbuddies9, Tank’s adoption fee is fully covered! Every time Sam Bennett (#9) of the Florida Panthers scores a goal, a shelter pet benefits—and Tank is one of the lucky ones! If you are interested in adopting Tank, fill out a pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com and come meet him at the Humane Society of Broward County, 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL. The adoption kennels open daily at 11 a.m. Questions? Call 954-989-3977.
