Family Camp Day

We invite parents/guardians to join their child for a day of camp! Family Camp Day provides families with an opportunity to enjoy a day of fun with the animals and this time it’s not just for kids! During Family Camp Day we will:

Tour the shelter
Make toys and treats for the shelter animals
Learn all about how the Humane Society of Broward County helps animals
Exercise some shelter dogs
Visit and play with some animal friends

The cost for the Family Camp Day is $35.00 per person. We ask that there is at least one parent/guardian per two children. Children must be six years or older. Spots are limited, so register today!

Who:

Families are invited to join us for a day of camp at the Humane Society of Broward County!

Monday, February 19, 2024 from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm

Details:

Family Day Camp includes:

Pizza lunch (2 slices per person)
Furry animal time
Animal toy and treat making
Lessons on animal care and responsibility
Fun games and activities!

Cost: $35.00 per person

Cancellation policy: A full refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee (per package), will be issued if the cancellation is requested 10 business days before the start date of the camp registered for.

Teen Animal Care Volunteer Program

We offer an on-site 3-month program for teens ages 14 to 17 and attending high school. Registration for 2024 opens on November 17, 2023 at approximately 3:00pm, and will remain open until all spots are full. Make sure you’re on our website then to secure your spot in one of our six sessions. All positions for 2023 are currently full.
