Teen Club

Teen Club Mission Statement:

The HSBC teen club aims to inspire kindness and service through helping animals in need. By fostering youth engagement and providing critical services to shelter animals through community service and education, we hope to create a better future for our domestic animal friends and become the next generation of animal heroes!

For Ages 13 – 17, you can enjoy the animals, participate in fundraisers to help the shelter, and earn your service hours.

2026-2027 Teen Club Registration will open on August 11, 2026

Who

13 – 17 year olds

What

Monthly meetings will consist of a hands-on activity, animal time and a lesson on animal care and welfare.
The registration fee is $130 and includes a t-shirt. Teens can only sign up for one group of meetings.

All meetings are from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm.

VIP Shelter Tours

Our VIP tour packs in all the fun of a shelter tour and cranks it up with animal playtime and activities that benefit the shelter pets.

Family Camp Day

Families are invited to join us for a day of camp fun!

Teen Animal Care Volunteer Program

We offer an on-site 3-month program for teens ages 16 to 18 and attending high school. Registration for 2025 opens on November 13, 2024 at approximately 3:00pm, and will remain open until all spots are full. Make sure you’re on our website then to secure your spot in one of our seven sessions. All positions for 2024 are currently full.
