Students & Teachers

An exclusive partnership with the Broward County Libraries and the School Board of Broward County, the Wags & Tales program provides a non-judgmental audience for students having trouble with reading. Participants learn how to be safe around animals as well as what a loving friend, a dog, can be as they improve their reading skills.

Reading List

The books listed here were selected based on their literary merit, their depiction of the human-animal bond and kindness toward animals, and their ability to promote empathy and compassion toward animals.

Pet Press Newspaper
