About

Kit Kat is very shy here at the shelter, but give her some time to warm up and she will be your BFF. Her former owner only had great things to say about her. Sadly, they gave her up when they lost their home and had no place to live with her. They wanted Kit Kat to have a stable, loving family. According to the profile her owner left, Kit Kat is a friendly, affectionate, and happy girl who loves attention and cuddles. She is good with dogs, kids, and adults, and thrives on human interaction. Kit Kat is deaf, so she needs a patient adopter who can go slow and gentle while communicating with her. She is very curious, loves rope toys, enjoys tug-of-war, and has a fondness for soft, meaty treats and plastic toys. Despite her size, Kit Kat still thinks she’s a puppy—she’s hyper, playful, and full of energy. She’s ready for a loving home that can match her enthusiasm and give her the attention she adores. Thanks to our friends at Dolly's Dream, they have kindly paid her adoption fee and she gets to go home with supplies to help her settle into her new home. To meet her complete the pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com and then stop by. The adoption shelter is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312. Call 954-989-3977 with any questions.
