About

Are you an active family who wants a dog that can keep up with you? If so, 3-year-old Roscoe (ID 682247) is the guy for you. Roscoe had an owner that cared about him, but after 1 ½ years, the landlord said he had to go. At 62 pounds, Roscoe is quite strong and energetic. He knows some basic commands such as sit, paw and come, and he is potty trained. Roscoe needs daily walks and playtime to burn off some of his energy. One of Roscoe favorite things to do is make snow. In other words,...take all the stuffing out of plush toys! It briefly keeps him entertained, so more durable toys might be best for him. His former owner said he is good with cats and other dogs, but a meet and greet is always recommended for a dog and slow introduction to a cat. Thanks to Dolly's Dream, Roscoe's adoption fee is covered, and he gets to go home with goodies from the Pet Boutique located in the lobby of the Humane Society of Broward County. To meet Roscoe, complete the pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com and stop by. The shelter is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 and the adoption kennels open daily at 11 a.m. If you have any questions, call 954-989-3977.
