About

WATCH MY VIDEO...Olaf is an 8 year old Australian Kelpie mix with a gentle spirit and a quiet charm that grows on you the more time you spend with him. He came to us from another shelter, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but we are certain his future is full of promise. Olaf is a shy and timid boy who takes a little time to feel comfortable, but once he does, his sweet nature really begins to show. He enjoys being petted and will lean into gentle affection from people he trusts. He is not the type to rush into new situations, but with patience and kindness, he continues to open up more each day. He walks nicely on leash and seems to be housetrained, making him a great candidate for a home environment. Olaf is also affectionate in his own quiet way, especially as he builds confidence with his person. He appears to get along well with other dogs, which may help him feel more secure. Olaf enjoys treats and will take them gently, though he is not overly driven by them. What he values most is a calm, understanding environment where he can move at his own pace. Olaf is looking for a patient adopter who will give him the time he needs to feel safe and loved. In return, he will be a loyal and gentle companion whose trust is truly special to earn.
